Other Wetland Greenery

Water Parsnip

Sium suave

Water Plantain

Common Horsetail

Equisetum arvense
Native Perennial.  Also known as Field Horsetail

Common Horsetail, Equisetum arvense, grows in moist to wet woods, meadows, and swamps.

Close-Up of the above horsetail.  The zig-zag shape to the stems is because of the jointed stems.  When enlarged, you can see a few places suggestive of the whorled leaves being wrapped around stems.

This plant growing in a marshy area is probably Common (Field) Horsetail, but its stems are unusually long and curved.
